"Work without Hope draws nectar in a sieve,
And Hope without an object cannot live".

Sums up my life these days.

Days leading into endless days staring at the white walls of the library. Seeing the same morose faces everyday, drawn into frowns by thickets of text and mind-numbing numbers.

I literally lost it the other day. Came home after a looonggg day in the library and started ranting and raving and almost screaming. So Sanah and I went out for shisha to calm our nerves. And then yesterday was her turn to lose it. So back we traipsed for more shisha. Yeap we're shisha junkies. :P

And then today instead of feeling guilty and working our asses off to make up, we headed to town for fish n chips in a pub and then chilled in Starbucks before we could finally muster up the courage to head back to that infernal hellhole.

Bleh. I'm sure I didn't feel this claustrophobic this soon last year! And for God's sake someone give me a job for the summer!

But then there's sooooo much more going on this year. Boys suck. Nuff said. :(((((((

Soooooo confusingggggggggggg!!

Why why why can't it be easy? WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!

I need a vacation. I need a job. I need a life. Someone please tell me what the hell I'm doing here.

Mind Without Fear

Where the mind is without fear and the head is held high;

Where knowledge is free;

Where the world has not been broken up

into fragments by narrow domestic walls;

Where words come out from the depth of truth;

Where tireless striving stretches its arms towards perfection;

Where the clear stream of reason

has not lost its way into the dreary desert sand of dead habit;

Where the mind is led forward by thee into ever-widening thought and action---

Into that heaven of freedom, my Father, let my country awake.

-Rabindranath Tagore, Mind without Fear (Gitanjali)
